Beautiful

I love living by this little lake. It's always fun to stop by in the evening with my daughter and feed the ducks. She says it is "beau-iful!". And she is so right. The sunset, the lake, nature, and spending one-on-one time with my little angel. Beau-iful indeed.

Random Thankfulness

Today (and every day) I am thankful that I work for a place that doesn't cut monetary corners when it comes to the toilet paper in the restrooms. Most places do and I really can't stand hard, yet tissue-thin toilet paper that is basically see-through and feels like sandpaper. Thankfully, I don't have to deal with that at home or in the workplace.

Woo hoo. I am blessed!

A gathering of paper money of various denominations were chatting about all the places they had recently been. The 1000 Dollar bill said that he had been traveling all over the world: Rio, Spain, France, and back to the USA. The 100 Dollar bill said he had been to the gambling boats: Shreveport,Vicksburg, Baton Rouge. The 1 Dollar bill said it had been travelling from church to church to church...

I am so "stoked"! There are plans to put a Babe's Chicken Dinner House in my town...MY TOWN!!!! If there was a restaurant that we were really missing out on...it's Babe's. I have been a long time fan of the restaurant. I remember when there was only one and just a few folks knew about it many years ago. My heart races just thinking about it. First Kincaid's, now Babe's...we are moving on up!! I absolutely cannot wait. Please...join me in a big fat: WOO HOO!!!!!

Most, if not all, SIN comes directly from our self-centeredness. I think most would agree. In fact, have you ever noticed what sits prominently in the middle of sin?? It is the letter: I. Interesting, huh?
