I prefer, "one former beggar telling a current beggar where the bread can be found." A current beggar MUST SEE what we have become in Christ; Brothers of King Jesus, Sons of God, more than Conquerors, and soooo much more. IF the current beggar knew the former beggar, the current beggar should be able to SEE in the former beggar something that he must have for himself, very much like a formerly lame man leaping about, or a blind man describing all he now sees. The change in the former must overwhelm the current, so much so, that the current ardently desires the "bread" now possessed by the former beggar.

I love it!
How surprisingly simple, yet how acutely accurate.
